A FALL MUSEUM WEDDING AT THE DALLAS MUSEUM OF ART IN DALLAS, TEXAS
The Story: How We Created an Intimate Atmosphere for an Oversized Guest List
Mackenzie and Austin, both contemporary art lovers, knew that the Dallas Museum of Art would be the perfect venue to host their 400 wedding guests for a reception. We quickly realized that we would face a couple of challenges, however. First, would it be possible to create an intimate atmosphere with such a large guest list from their joint history together? Second, how could we incorporate the bride’s family furniture company, Arteriors, into their wedding without it distracting
from the couple or feeling like a styled shoot? To create a modern, intimate reception while incorporating the contemporary design aesthetic the couple adores, the Dallas Museum of Art proved to be the perfect canvas. We brought in the experts at Jackson Durham to create small vignettes of Arteriors furnishings throughout the venue, and the couple was able to carve out small moments and spaces for themselves. The result? An intimate and romantic wedding experience for all involved.
