A FALL TENTED WEDDING AT RIDGEWOOD COUNTRY CLUB IN WACO, TEXAS
The Story: When Making a Plan Becomes a Moving Target
It’s common knowledge that planning a wedding comes with it’s fair share of decision making, family dynamics and major life changes. Add in a global pandemic, and ever evolving restrictions and the process starts to feel more than daunting. When Lynn, John and their families began their planning process, they had a plan in mind. Lynn had a vision for the look of the evening with lots of special details, and the couple was looking forward to dancing the night away! When COVID restrictions banned dancing indoors, they had to come up with a new plan, fast! Enter their planning team ready to reimagine the evening keeping their vision at the center. The new plan included a ceremony
under a sperry tent, cocktail hour outdoors at golden hour, and dinner indoors in the country club’s ballroom completely transformed with chocolate brown draping and stunning floral design. During dinner, the ceremony tent was transformed into the perfect open-air party tent. The guests enjoyed the evening and were none the wiser that the power cut out minutes before the ceremony trapping a portion of the floral design team in the elevator and making the kitchen inoperable. The vendor team worked quickly, and devised a plan to keep the wedding celebrations going without a hitch! Check out more of Lynn and David’s gorgeous wedding below.
